Jagan government will change Amaravati Master Plan

Vijayawada: “There cannot be a city without workers,” the YSRC has affirmed and clarified that more changes would be made to the Amaravati master plan if and when the conditions are not satisfactory.

“Chandrababu Naidu as chief minister gave only 16 yards of land for construction of houses to the poor but he is shamelessly criticising the offering of one cent land by Jagan Mohan Reddy government to the poor in Amaravati,” said YSRC leader and government adviser on public affairs, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy.

He recalled, “Chandrababu had previously given only 16 yards to the poor but he is shamelessly saying that he has given three cents of land and completed 3 lakh houses.”

Reddy claimed that Chandrababu reserved Amaravati for the rich and not for the poor. Though all the poor in the state have been allocated house plots by the YSRC government, Chandrababu and his supporters have been blocking the way for the poor in Amaravati.

He alleged that Chandrababu has prepared a master plan under which only the rich and wealthy should stay in Amaravati, and not all the communities.

Chandrababu has planned construction of three lakh houses but none of them has passed the foundation stage. They are also being completed by the Jagan government.”

Ramakrishna Reddy said it was outrageous that Chandrababu has arrogantly compared the house plots given to the poor by the YSRC government with graves. “Every poor family in the state will be given houses and the YSRC government is working with the aim that there should be no homeless poor in AP.”
