Kochi: The Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) on Saturday published the results of B. Tech VIII (final) semester examination conducted in April/May 2019. The overall pass percentage is 58.39%.
The toppers are Sara Ranjit (Computer Science and Engineering), Rameesa Koorikkatil (Information Technol- ogy), Sachinan Shahi (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), Abhishek Kushwaha (Electronics and Communication Engineering), Alok Ranjan (Safety and Fire Engineering), S. Moses Gladson (Mechanical Engineering) and Anjali (Civil Engineering)
This year the results have been published one month in advance compared to previous years, with the university able to conduct examinations on time. This year’s result is that of the first final examination after the delinking of the recognized colleges from the university.
Overall, this year, 61 reputed firms visited the campus for recruitment and placed 430 students of the university. The result is available on the university website: www.cusat.ac.in.
The last date for submitting applications for scrutiny and revaluation at the respective examination centres are May 28 and June 3 respectively. The degree certificates are made available online in the National Academic Depository. Students can register with National Academic Depository and download the digitally signed copy of degree certificates.
The hard copy of the degree certificate in the conventional form will be issued within one month of the result release. Provision for applying the official transcripts of the marks by online was implemented recently and remittance of the fee has been made online. Vice- Chancellor Dr. K.N. Madhusoodanan congratulated all students who have come out with flying colours in the examination.
