Hyderabad: The Telangana State government has finalised the modalities of the selection for “Telangana State Excellence Awards and informed to all departments to file nominations from June 2 to 17. For the awards, the departments will be selected through screening process including filed verification.
B.P. Acharya, Special Chief Secretary, Planning Department and the chairman of the committee entrusted to prepare modalities for awards, said that they have decided the categories for Telangana state Excellence awards.
The categories include flagship programmes such as Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya, Kalyana Lakshmi, Arogya Lakshmi and Haritha Haram, general category and innovation category.
He said the awards will be presented on the Independence Day. These awards, he said, would be given to individuals, groups, departments, districts and organisations.
