Education officer dies due to heat in Nalgonda

The doctors declared the cause of death as heat stroke.

Hyderabad: Heat wave in Nalgonda claimed the life of a Mandal education officer on Thursday. The MEO, R. Nagaraju, a resident of Nalgonda district working at Dameracherla was conducting a farmers’ survey on Wenesday. It should be noted that for the past three consecutive days, Nalgonda district has been recording the highest temperature of 46 degrees Celsius in the state.

The deceased, had reached home and found himself in a miserable condition. He started vomitting and was shifted to a private hospital in Nalgonda where he succumbed at 1 am on Thursday. The doctors declared the cause of death as heat stroke. Heat wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in the district of Nalgonda, Ramagundam , Badrachalam of Telangana, on Thursday .

While dry weather was reported across all the districts. In Andhra Pradesh, too, severe heat wave conditions continued at isolated places in Guntur of coastal Andhra Pradesh. Heat wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in the districts of Krishna & Prakasam. The same warning will continue for the next three days from Saturday.
