Chennai: Anna University was permitted to conduct convocation as per schedule on Friday with Madras high court on Thursday dismissing a petition challenging it.
When a petition filed by Dr I. Arul Aram, president of A nnaUniversity Teachers Association, came up for hearing before the vacation court, Justice M. Govindaraj dismissed it and refused to declare the resolution passed to conduct the convocation on May 19, 2017 by the syndicate committee as illegal.
