Kochi: Rains are expected to follow poll results. “Under the influence of the deep depression which has been persisting for the past few days, rainfall up to 5 mm will occur at several places in Kerala in the 24 hours from Wednesday. Rainfall accompanied by lightning can be expected at a few places over the next 2-3 days. Rainfall will be higher in coastal region and of 1 cm/24 hour is expected,” said Dr M.G. Manoj, research scientist at the Advanced Centre for Atmospheric Radar Research (ACARR) of CUSAT.
