Nellore: Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy gives ultimatum over pending works

Nellore: Nellore rural legislator Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has demanded Nellore civic body to complete all pending works. He criticised the snail's pace of work on the underground drainage and drinking water supply improvement schemes.

Speaking to the civic body officials on Thursday, Mr Sridhar Reddy said that he will launch an agitation from May 1 if the roads damaged because of these two schemes are not restored before the end of April.

Mr Sridhar Reddy reminded the officers about their written commitment to complete the road works when he staged a stir in front of the civic body office three months ago on the poor condition of roads in Nellore. The legislator said people continue to suffer as there is no change in the situation. He expressed concern over drinking water scarcity in Nellore rural constituency.
