Hyderabad city-bound lane on expressway closed

This restriction will continue till the BT works for the entire bridge is completed after removing the existing BT.

Hyderabad: The PVNR Expressway will be partially closed from April 22 for black topping (BT) of the road. While traffic towards Hyderabad city will be closed, traffic from Hyderabad city towards Aramgarh, Shamshabad and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport will be allowed as usual. This restriction will continue till the BT works for the entire bridge is completed after removing the existing BT.

According to the Cyberabad Traffic Police, from Monday commuters from RGI Airport and Shamshabad have to proceed towards Hyderabad under the PVNR Express-way via Aramgarh, Shiv-rampally, PDP, Crossroads, Upperpally, Hyderguda, Attapur, Reti Bowli and Mehdipatnam. Likewise, commuters coming from Chandrayangutta and Zoo Park Road (Bahadurpura) and Shivrampally have to proceed towards Mehdipat-nam and Hyderabad city under the PVNR Express-way via Shivrampally, PDP Crossroads, Upperpally, Hyderguda, Attapur, Reti Bowli and Mehdipatnam.

Due to these restrictions, traffic on both sides on the full stretch of Mehdi-patnam, Reti Bowli, Attapur, Shivrampally and Aram-garh will be affect significantly. The Traffice police further cautioned that in case commuters use the Bandlaguda route the traffic will be all the more affected on the Chandrayangutta and Zoo Park routes as well.
