Jewellery robbery case: Robbers sabotaged jeweller's car, says Cyberabad cops

Hyderabad: Cyberabad police investigating the Kukatpally case of a jeweller being robbed of Rs 70 lakh jewellery from his car, has found that the suspects had placed metal objects under the vehicle’s tyres to deflate them.

Cops are now trying to determine the direction the suspects took after stealing the jewellery from the vehicle.

Cops had initially suspected that victim Abhishek Agarwal was lying about the theft but CCTV footage has backed his claims.

A probe revealed that the suspects had started tailing Mr Agarwal’s car soon after he left from the Malabar jewellers showroom. at Chandanagar.
