Hyderabad: A total of six doctors, from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, have been elected into the American Association of Physicians of Indian origin and will now focus on imparting specialist medical training at the ground level across Hyderabad, Vijaywada and Amaravati.
The set of six doctors are hoping to train and develop nearly 25,000 professionals to become first responders during emergency situations.
Dr Suresh Reddy, the current secretary of the AAPI and who is from Kakatiya Medical College said training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation will be carried out.
“Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is commonly known as CPR. This is an important method that saves lives in emergency situations,” he said.
