Hyderabad: Making it clear that he was not in the race for Rajya Sabha membership, home minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy on Monday said that he would continue in the TS Cabinet as long as Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao wanted him to.
Mr Reddy was responding to reports that he would be dropped from the Cabinet in the much-anticipated Cabinet reshuffle while releasing the TRS poster for the party’s mega-plenary at Khammam on April 27. “KCR is supreme for me. I will stand by his decision. In the last elections, he asked me to contest and I told him I don’t have money. He promised to make me an MLC and did. He took me into the Cabinet and gave me the home portfolio. If the party president tells me to work for the party, I will do so,” the minister said.
