HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Power Employees’ Joint Action Committee will take out a ‘Chalo Vidyuth Soudha’ rally on March 24 demanding a pay revision commission, conversion of EPF to GPF for employees appointed between 1999 and 2004 and issues pertaining to artisans.
This was decided at a meeting held here on Saturday. The next meeting of unions and employees will be in Warangal on Monday and at KTPS Palvancha, a day later.
JAC chairman Saibabu and convener Ratnakar Rao called upon electricity employees to make a grand success of the event. "We have faith in the state government and management of power utilities. Yet, to build pressure we have decided to embark on agitation," JAC leaders said.
