Bengaluru: Results of PUC and SSLC exams will be announced in the third and fourth weeks of April respectively, said Public Education Commissioner P.C. Jaffer, here on Monday.
He said that the valuation of PUC answer scripts will begin from March 25, while SSLC papers will be evaluated from April 10.
Coding and decoding of PUC papers will start from March 21, while valuation will begin from March 25. Evaluation of SSLC papers will begin from April 10.
As the state is going for general elections on April 18 and 23, arrangements have been made, he said.
The education department has requested the PUC Teachers’ Association to take up the evaluation. If they don’t, an alternative plan will be initiated. Students need not worry, he said. A request has been made to begin classes for II PUC from May 6.
Question paper leak
After an inquiry, it was ascertained that a student was involved in leaking a question paper. Since the exam is on, he cannot be picked up for investigation. After the probe, a case of cheating will be registered against him, Mr Jaffer said.
