Ugadi predictions: Parties get customised almanacs

At the Ugadi almanac predictions in TDP office, the pandits forecast TD emerging as a decision force' in Telangana in ensuing elections.

Hyderabad: As usual, pandits have come out with ‘customised panchangams’ for various political parties on the occasion of Ugadi on Sunday.

The pandits, who read out almanac during the Panchanga Shravanam programme conducted at offices of political parties predicted bright future for respective parties and higher chances of coming to power in 2019 elections.

“The Congress has a bright future in Telugu New Year. TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has ‘rajayoga’ after October. The party will receive huge response from the public. The agitation programmes to be conducted by Congress demanding resolution of problems faced by people will succeed,” predicted Gotti-pala Tirumala Sastry at Gandhi Bhavan.

At the Ugadi almanac predictions in TDP office, the pandits forecast TD emerging as a ‘decision force’ in Telangana in ensuing elections.

They predicted that the party, which is going through a tougher phase at present, would recover and play a key role in forming the government in TS with its support.

The YSRCP’s ‘pancha-nga shravanam’ predicted that the party will capture power in AP by bagging 135 seats. The pandits said the adverse conditions being faced by party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will end by October and he will att-ain ‘rajayoga’ later and will become the ruler.

The Ugadi panchanga shravanam at BJP state office in city, predicted good days for party in the election year.

Shashibushan Sharma predicted that the BJP will emerge stronger in Telangana this year and is heading towards capturing power in the state.

The panchanga shravanam conducted at Jana Sena office did not predict the party would come to power, but said people will face several hardships due to fight for one upmanship between the Centre and state government. It predicted se-vere resentment from the public on decisions taken by Central and state governments this year.
