Hyderabad: Osmania University will start offering dual degree courses in partnership with the University of Missouri, St Louis (UM) as early as this June. University vice-chancellor Prof. S. Ramachandram had an early morning video conference on Sunday with UMSL officials to decide on subjects that will be part of the programme.
Stating that it is a historic moment for the Osmania University, the vice-chancellor listed the courses offering dual degree: MS Chemistry —integrated course (3+2), 3 years in OU and 2 years in UM; MS Computer Science — BTech (4+1), 4 years in OU and 1 year in UM ; MA Communication —(1+1), 1 year in OU and 1 Year in UM and MBA (1+1), 1 year in OU and 1 Year in UM. 40 students, 10 each from the four courses, will get an opportunity to study in Missouri University.
