100 per cent households in Andhra Pradesh to be electrified by April

Rajahmundry: 22,000 households have been electrified so far against the 34,811 identified unelectrified houses.
Visakhapatnam: Electrification of 100 % households in Andhra Pradesh by April 30 is the main agenda of the state government, said the principal secretary (Energy, I&I) Ajay Jain.
He told this to newsmen after chairing a meeting with APEPDCL CMD R. Mutyala Raju, directors, CGMs and all superintending engineers in the APEPDCL corporate office.
As per the directives of AP government, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has aimed at announcing on June 8 that 100 per cent households in AP were electrified. Mr Jain directed all the officials to ensure that all ho-useholds are electrified.
