Telangana prison department to host Conclave

Hyderabad: The Telangana prison department will host event ‘Conclave’ for ex-prisoners on February 24. The programme will showcase the experiences of the released prisoners on how they have transformed through ‘Unnati’ programme. 

Professor Beena Chintalapuri, incharge for  Unnati programme and coordinator for conclave said, “About 50 to 60 ex-prisoners are scheduled to take part in the programme. This is aimed at bridging gap between the people of the society and the prisoners, and that even they have a right to be heard.”

 

“All industrialists who have employed ex-prisoners have been invited for the programme to know  how their code of conduct has been at work and what are the different productive activities in which they have been involved post release.”
