Tealngana: Students, driver hurt in mishap

The mishap occurred when the truck driver took a right turn without showing any indication.

Hyderabad: The driver of a college bus fractured his leg and seven students suffered minor injuries when their bus rammed into a sand truck in Hayathnagar.
The mishap occurred when the truck driver took a right turn without showing any indication. About 40 students were travelling in the bus.

Police said the bus which belonged to Swathi Institute of Technology and Sciences, was going towards the college in Hayathnagar. When the bus reached the Pedda Amberpet area. The driver of the sand truck moving in front took a turn towards the right suddenly.

“The bus driver lost control and rammed into the truck fracturing his right leg,” said Hayathnagar SI Manmadha Kumar. Seven students in the bus suffered minor injuries.

A case for causing injuries was registered against truck driver Ramulu. After the accident he abandoned the truck and fled from the scene. Bus driver Raju was admitted to a private hospital. The injured students were let off after first aid.
