Medical and health ministry to be shifted to Vijayawada by June 2
The public and private doctors to follow medical ethics and also urged to maintain transparency in their practice.
Vijayawada: The medical and health ministry would be shifted to Vijayawada by June 2, said minister for medical and health Kamineni Srinivas. He interacted with the media after inauguration AP Medical Cou-ncil at Dr NTR Health University in Vijayawada on Thursday.
He directed the public and private doctors to follow medical ethics and also urged to maintain transparency in their practice.
He said that every practising doctor must register their names in the Medical Council. He warned that if they violate the ethics, the Medical Council has the right to suspend them up to five years as well as it could censure the doctors.
AP Medical Council was formed in 2015. He warned that middlemen have been taking money from the applicants by offering jobs in the medical department. He said that the government released notification for 1,000 nurses, 500 doctors and other hospital administrator posts.
Dr Srinivas said that at present he could not give a job for even his daughter or son. The procedure for recruitment is only through online and based on merit. He stated that the government would start ultrasound scannings at all hospitals.
