Rs 3 lakh ex-gratia to be given to victims' kin: Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Rammohan

Hyderabad: City mayor Bonthu Rammohan has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from the mayor’s funds and Rs1 lakh under the Abathbandu scheme to the kin of deceased.

Mr Rammohan and deputy mayor Baba Fasiuddin reached Kapra after learning about the incident.

The mayor enquired about the incident from officials present on the spot and instructed officials of the GHMC enforcement wing, police and fire department to initiate rehabilitation efforts immediately.

Mr Rammohan said that ex-gratia would be given to the family of Mr Ravi Kumar who died after debris fell on him and kin of Mr Mohan Lal who died while undergoing treatment.
