British official visits KCR's village, reviews projects

He expressed joy on the various schemes being implemented by the the Telangana government.

Karimnagar: British Deputy High commissioner Andrew Fleming paid a visit to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekar Rao’s adopted village Chinnamulkanoor. on Thursday.

He inspected the 2BHK scheme houses and interacted with the beneficiaries. While speaking to the beneficiaries he got to know their views on receiving welfare schemes.

He expressed joy on the various schemes being implemented by the the Telangana government.

Husnabad MLA V. Satish Kumar who accompanied Mr Fleming explained about the 2BHK scheme progress and how it was helping the poorest of the poor in the state.

Mr Fleming said, “It is interesting to know that a majority of people from the agriculture sector are aware about the government’s flagship programmes like 24x7 power supply, irrigation and proposed financial help for crop cultivation.”

He also reviewed the Kalyana Laxmi programme which offers financial help to the poor and the Gouravelli project progress in Koheda village in Siddepet district. Mr Fleming viewed the land acquisition benefits doled out to villagers in Saidapur mandal and paid visited the Mulkanoor Cooperative Milk dairy, run entirely by women.
