Hyderabad: The Telangana state government will be promoting eligible teachers in the state shortly.
“The state government, without any delay, will announce promotions once the Centre clears a file pertaining to the unified service rules, applicable to both the Telugu states,” Deputy Chief Minister and education minister Kadiam Srihari said.
He said that the Centre delayed taking a decision in view of difference of opinion between the two states on the issue. adding that he had a word with his AP counterpart, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, after which it was conveyed to the Centre that both the Telugu states will implement the decision. “We are hoping to hear a word from the Central government soon after which due formalities will be completed,” the education minister said.
