Hyderabad: Osmania University has decided to develop three lakes under the government’s flagship Mission Kakatiya.
A two-acre land in Landscape Garden and a vacant land next to the building housing the Central Facilities for Research and Development are on the radar. Officials have also planned to develop the Moin Cheruvu spread over 30 acres on the campus boundary at Ramanthapur.
OU vice-chancellor S. Ramachandram said that they are giving top priority for lakes as part of their makeover plans for the varsity, which will be celebrating hundred years of its establishment.
