Hyderabad: South Central Railways on Monday said that it has rescheduled, diverted or partially cancelled some trains due to Cyclone Phethai, which made landfall on the AP coast on Monday.
Among the trains that are rescheduled: Train 07438 Kacheguda-Tatanagar Jn scheduled to depart Kacheguda at 1 pm on Dec. 17 rescheduled to depart at 4 pm.
Diverted: Train 18645 Howrah Jn-Hyderabad East Coast Express scheduled to leave Howrah Jn on December 17 was diverted to run via Kharagpur Jn, Tatanagar Jn, Jharsuguda Jn, Bilaspur Jn and Vijayawada instead of its route.
Partially cancelled: Train 57594 H.S. Nanded-Medchal passenger scheduled to leave H.S.Nanded on Dec. 17 was partially cancelled between Nizamabad and Medchal stations (short terminated at Nizamabad) due to late running of its pairing train.
Train 57593 Medchal-H.S.Nanded passenger scheduled to leave Medchal on Dec. 17 was partially cancelled between Medchal and Nizamabad stations (starting from Nizamabad instead of Medchal) due to late running of pairing train.
