Hyderabad: The State Election Commission (SEC) on Monday initiated the process for rural elections by issuing orders to the district collectors and the commissioner of Panchayat Raj to complete a few tasks by the time the notification is issued.
The Commission has ordered the officials to complete generation of ward-wise addition and deletions of voters by December 18.
It has also ordered appointment of returning officers and assistant returning officers and their training by December 22.
The SEC further asked the officials to complete polling personnel randomisation in Te-poll software by December 20 and serve the orders to them at source mandals by December 26.
