Hyderabad: Work on the road under-bridge at Anand Bagh, which has been languishing for more than three years, will pick up steam now that the land acquisition issue has been cleared.
The project was stuck because of a lack of funds as well as disputes between property owners and state agencies over land acquisition for service roads.
The owners of the properties have now agreed to withdraw the case. Consequently, stay orders brought by the courts have been vacated and the GHMC and South Central Railway authorities can begin work on the remaining road.
