Hyderabad: Drunk kicks up a row at cop station

Hyderabad: A young woman from Nagaland created ruckus at Banjara Hills police station in a drunk condition on Saturday night. The woman also tried to bite women police personnel when they tried to control her.

A video of the same went viral on social media on Sunday, in which the woman was seen yelling at the police.  

 

Banjara Hills inspector R. Kalinga Rao said that a call through Dial 100 was received from the residents of Zahra-nagar on Saturday night informing that a young woman in drunk condition was creating a nuisance on the residential area by moving around in semi-naked condition.

A team of women police rushed to the spot and managed to bring her to the police station. The woman identified as Lisa, 22, of Nagaland and resident of Zahranagar, was un-controllable and tried misbehaving with the women police. She claimed to be a software professional working at Madhapur, but she failed to provide an identification card.

The inspector said that the woman was booked in a case for using obscene words in the public, assaulting the public servants and also under the City Police Act and was admitted to a rescue home at Begumpet.
