Hyderabad police unveil 3-pronged security plan for GES

The security arrangements on the hotel will be finalised after receiving confirmation from the US security agencies.
The city police will conduct a census in areas around Taj Falaknuma Hotel in view of the visits by Ms Ivanka Trump, advisor to the White House and daughter of US President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi and other delegates on November 28 for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES).

Hyderabad: While the city is being decked up for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), the hotel in which Ms Ivanka Trump, daughter of US President Donald Trump and an advisor to the White House, will stay in the city has been tentatively confirmed as Westin.

“The local police is awaiting the itinerary from the US counterparts,” an official said. 

 

Ivanka may be participating in the events on the first two days of the three-day global conclave at Hyderabad International Conven-tion Centre (HICC), slated from November 28. 

The police has drafted a three-way security plan for the hotels. The security arrangements on the hotel will be finalised after receiving confirmation from the US security agencies. The local police also will be roped in for the security. The hotel staff will undergo rigorous security checks as part of this.
