CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran faces trolls, abuse on Facebook

Majority of the comments were highly abusive and derogatory.

Thiruvananthapuram: The CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran's Facebook wall was bombarded with choicest abuses and accusations after his editorial justifying CPI party ministers staying out of Cabinet. The trolls, allegedly by CPM followers, have launched a surgical strike against Kanam. By Friday evening, more than five thousand persons liked the post, 900 shared it and 4600 commented. Majority of the comments were highly abusive and derogatory.

Some reminded Kanam that it was with CPI leader K.E. Ismail's MP funds that the road heading to Thomas Chandy's resort was constructed. "Show the guts to take action against your own party leader," said one. Another comment; "Kanam was MLA from Vazhoor for ten years. But for the last 25 years the LDF has not been able to win even once from the constituency which was delimited later." "You have backstabbed the LDF. Do you have the strength to secure 1000 votes if you contest alone in any seat from Kerala?" another reads.
