Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has announced a lucky draw for passengers in connection with Bathukamma and Dussehra festival celebrations. The state-wide lucky draw contest launched on Wednesday will continue till October 30, said VC Sajjanar, TSRTC managing director in a media release.
Lucky draw will be conducted in each regional centre and 10 winners will be selected. Passengers who win the lucky draw contest will get a cash prizes of Rs.11 lakhs. Additionally, five men and five women from each region will be given prizes of Rs.9900 each to a total of 110 people.
To participate in the draw, the passengers, after completing the journey in TSRTC buses, should write their name and phone numbers on the back of the ticket and drop them in the drop boxes set up at the bus stands, Sajjanar said.
Instructions have been given to the authorities concerned to set up separate drop boxes for women and men at bus stands and busy traffic points.
Passengers commuting for Bathukamma and Dussehra festivals are requested to avail the lucky draw facility and patronize the organization on the occasion of Rakhi Purnami, the TSRTC MD added.
