CM on field visit to northern districts

Chennai: Chief Minister M K Stalin interacted with the common people who had come down to the Kattankulathur Panchayat Union office on some work on Tuesday and urged the officials there to look into the people’s grievances carefully with a view to redressing them

Stalin made a surprise visit to the office at Kattankulathur on his way to Maraimalai Nagar in Chengalpattu district where he held a review meeting of the law and order situation in the districts of Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur and Chennai.

He advised some girls who had come with a petition seeking scholarship to apply for assistance given to students going for higher education under the Pudhumai Penn (Modern Woman) scheme.

In earlier three instances of field inspections, the Chief Minister had reviewed the administrative work, the progress of development and welfare schemes of a plethora of districts like Salem, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Namakkal, Madurai, Ramanathapuram, Dindigul, Sivaganga, Villupuram, Cuddalore and Kallakurichi.
