Vijayawada: AP Eamcet 2020 web counselling for admissions into Engineering and Pharmacy courses will start on October 23. This was announced by Convener of Admissions, Special Commissioner of Technical Education MM Nayak here on Saturday.
According to the notification, eligible students in MPC stream can participate in the web counselling as per the fee particulars-OC and BC candidates have to pay Rs. 1,200 and SC and ST candidates will have to pay online processing fee of Rs 600, which can be paid through http://apeamcet.nic.in.
On payment of the fee, the registration number and login ID details will be sent to the mobile number mentioned in the online application. After verification, the candidate needs to create a password with the login ID and enter the options.
Certificates verification will be held from October 23 to 27 followed by web options registration while the seat allocation dates would be announced later. The certificate verification for physically challenged, sportspersons, NCC and Anglo-Indian candidates will be conducted at Government Polytechnic College near Benz Circle from 9 am onwards and CAP (Children of Armed Personnel) candidates can go to the helpline centres of Government Polytechnic Colleges in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati.
On October 23, online counselling will be held for candidates with ranks from 1 to 20,000, while the next day it will be for ranks 20,001 to 50,000; for candidates with ranks from 50,001 to 80,000 the date is October 26 and the next day it will be for ranks 8,0001 to 1,10,000. On October 27, rankers from 1,10,001 onwards will be counselled.
These candidates have to attend certificate verification at the nearest helpline centres and after verification, they have to proceed for option entry.
