Hyderabad likely to witness rain for two days
Hyderabad: The southwest monsoons withdrew from Hyderabad and north Telangana on Tuesday, two days after its official date.
TS ended the monsoon with a 13 per cent deficit as on September 30, which is officially calculated as the end of the season, and Andhra Pradesh received 15 per cent rain.
On Tuesday, dry weather prevailed throughout the state and day temperatures rose. Hyderabad recorded a maximum of 33ºC.
The forecast for the state was light to moderate rainfall at isolated places in the districts. The forecast for the city for Wednesday and Thursday is rain or thundershowers towards the evening or night.
Coastal AP will see heavy rain under the impact of a well-marked low pressure area over south and central Bay of Bengal, which is expected to concentrate into a depression.
