‘Ambedkar statue to be unveiled before December 8’
The state government on Monday submitted before the high court that the statue of Dr B.R. Ambedkar in front of Vidhana Soudha will be unveiled at its designated place before December 8. It is mostly likely on December 6, Dr Ambedkar’s death anniversary. The state made the submissions to a petition alleging that despite the completion of Namma Metro, the statue was yet to be restored.
