Hyderabad Public School takes civic body to court
HPS approached the court regarding encroachment of school land in Begumpet.
HYDERABAD: The management of Hyderabad Public School on Monday approached the court regarding encroachment of school land in Begumpet.
Mr Gusti J. Noria, vice-chairman, Board of Governors, HPS, stated that the school had filed a contempt of court petition against the GHMC for illegally occupying school land.
He explained that the High Court had passed a stay order on the issue and authorities’ actions were nothing but violation of the court directions.
Last week the HPS management had alleging that 2.75 acres out of the total 4 acres located in Survey No. 147/1 at Begumpet was encroached by the civic body for constructing a graveyard.
