UDF decides to back apartment owners

After the meeting, RSP secretary A. A. Azeez told reporters that a consensus had been reached on the issue.

Thiruvananthapuram: A UDF meeting called ahead of the all-party meeting on Maradu in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday had reached a consensus on supporting the claims of the owners of the apartments. The meeting, held at Cantonment House, the official residence of the leader of the Opposition Ramesh Chennithala, was necessitated as there were two opinions on the issue with one section supporting the builders.

After the meeting, RSP secretary A. A. Azeez told reporters that a consensus had been reached on the issue. But he retorted angrily when it was pointed out party’s MP N. K. Premachandran had not signed a petition to the authorities seeking their help.
