Ariyalur: New memorial for Kaduvetti Guru

ARIYALUR: The PMK founder-president Dr. S. Ramadoss strongly condemned the flex-banner culture in Tamil Nadu and said nowhere in the country such ‘nuisance’ could be seen except in Tamil Nadu.

Dr Ramadoss made this remark while declaring open a memorial (Mani Mandapam) for late Vanniyar Sangam president Kaduvetti Guru at Kaduvetti village near Ariyalur on Tuesday. He appealed to his party volunteers not to put out any flex-banner or wall painting (publicity) in any event of the PMK.

He said the memorial cost came to around` two crore and thanked one Mr. Ravi, who donated a piece of land for building the memorial.

Speaking on the occasion, the PMK’s youth Wing president and Rajya Sabha MP, Dr Anbumani Ramadoss, appealed to the party high command to hold the party’s state conference, at the earliest.
