Hyderabad: Wife starts Facebook page for Pranay
Hyderabad: Amrutha Varshini, the widow of the murdered P. Pranay Kumar, began her fight for justice against her father T. Maruthi Rao on social media platforms on Monday. In just four hours, the page was liked by 4.3 lakh Facebook users.
Speaking to the media, she reiterated that she was going to fight against casteism. She demanded that all the culprits, who were involved in Pranay’s murder, should be severely punished, including her father.
She created a Facebook account called ‘Justice for Pranay’ on Monday. She posted a comment, “Don’t worry Pranay… You are not alone… Not only me, you are in the hearts of crores of people… Many people are fighting for justice.”
Chandra Shekar said in a review of the Facebook page, “True love never dies. This is a movement against the people, who have become blind with their utter stupidity. This is a movement in favour of love; this is a movement for the safety of our children…Say no to caste system.”
Please start encouraging inter-caste marriages, so our next generations won’t face this meaningless cruelty.”
Ram Chotu said in a review, “It is very cruel. There are many ways to express anger if your child does not obey you. You can just abandon them, stop talking to them etc. But taking the life of a person is highly sinful. Pranay deserves justice. He is innocent. Everyone deserves to live. We miss you Pranay.”
