Congress leader accuses H D Revanna of forging documents

Mr Manju claimed the Minister had fraudulently registered 54.29 acres of government land using forged documents in the name of his younger son.

Hassan: There appears to be fresh trouble brewing for the coalition government in the state. Although the The JD(S) and the Congress are partners in the state government, it hasn’t stopped Congress leader and former Minister, A Manju from making serious charges against senior JD(S) leader and Minister for Public Works, H D Revanna.

Mr Manju claimed the Minister had fraudulently registered 54.29 acres of government land using forged documents in the name of his younger son, Prajwal, in Hassan taluk. Demanding an investigation into the alleged scam, he claimed that land in various survey numbers of Gowripura in Somanahalli Kaval had been forged by Mr Revanna in collusion with officials in 2014-15.

The Congress leader alleged that the 54.29 acres were first registered in the name of one Sannegowda in 1956-57, but later in collusion with the officials concerned, they were registered in the names of several individuals, before being finally registered in the name of Kalamma, aunt of H D Deve Gowda and that of Prajwal.
