Case booked against Allwyn Colony corporator

They were drunk at the time of the incident.

Hyderabad: Dodla Venkatesh Goud, Allwyn Colony corporator, has been booked under charges for preventing a public servant from discharge of his duty. A case was registered against him in the Keesara police station.

In September, the corporator’s son, Dodla Ramu Goud and his friends were arrested by the KHPB police after they assaulted three persons over a parking issue. They were drunk at the time of the incident.

According to the police, Dodla Venkatesh had visited the collector’s office at Keesara to submit a representation. But even after waiting for hours to meet the collector, he could not get the appointment. Angered over this, he entered the PA’s cabin and abused the staff. Later, the collector ordered the police to register a case against the corporator.

" We are collecting evidence. Based on this, we will proceed," said Mr M.Surender Goud, inspector of the Keesara police station.
