HYDERABAD: Sixty-eight per cent of the work on Metro Rail have been completed, HMR managing director N.V.S. Reddy told the TS Legislature committee on public undertakings. He said foundations for 59 km, 56 km of pillars and viaduct in 47 kms have been laid. The eight-km Nagole-Mettuguda and 12-km Miyapur-SR Nagar stretches have got the safety certificate from the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety. The project had faced over 200 court cases and issues relating to sensitive structures.
