Hyderabad: Siddipet DSP Ch. Shridhar who has been accused of harassing and pushing the Kuknoorpally SI to suicide, claimed that the allegations in the suicide note were false. He said that he was trying to figure out why the SI would write such a note against him.
The DSP said that there was a pending inquiry against deceased SI Ramakrishna Reddy in a corruption case. “There was a petition against him regarding an accident vehicle replacement and misuse of the case. I had started an inquiry into the matter 15 days ago. Maybe he was tensed about that inquiry,” said Mr Shridhar.
He added that he was willing to cooperate with any probe. “Let them investigate and find out if there is truth in those allegations,” he said.
