Hyderabad: Road repair work to begin at Ameenpur
According to B.L.N. Reddy, chief engineer, tenders have been called for and works will be taken up in a few weeks.
HYDERABAD: Road work will soon begin in Ameenpur, which boasts of the noted Ameenpur lake and has been declared as a biodiversity heritage sites set for a makeover in few weeks from now.
The government has asked the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) to take up road repair works in Ameenpur on a priority basis. An amount of Rs 3.5 crore has been sanctioned by the government for these works.
According to B.L.N. Reddy, chief engineer, tenders have been called for and works will be taken up in a few weeks.
Although Ameenpur is a gram panchayat, it comes under the HMDA limits. Ameenpur is weekend getaway frequented by photographers and bird watchers for the waterfowls and migratory birds.
