Hyderabad: Special Investigation Team (SIT) on drug cases is focusing on how the courier services neglected identifying drugs supplied from Netherlands, Germany, US and UK. For the negligence, the SIT will send notices under NDPS Act to the courier services seeking explanation on the negligence.
Meanwhile, the SIT will seek the footage of CCTV and other evidence of the particular consignments which had drugs and supplied from foreign countries to Calvin and other drug rackets in city. The SIT is suspecting the role of staff from the courier companies and customs staff at airports. So far the SIT has identified India Post and a few private couriers that supplied drugs to Calvin and others.
