Vijayawada: A pastor from Gannavaram has gone missing in the USA. Pastor Johnson Chowdary, who left for Los Angels 15 days back to participate in Christian meetings, was scheduled to return on July 14. His family was in touch with him till a day before his return, but his mobile phone was switched off after that.
The pastor’s wife Ms Subhashini went to Hyderabad airport wher she was informed that her husband had not boarded the flight. She called up Pastor Daniel in LA who told her that the Pastor had left on July 13.
When she approached police, Gannavaram inspector allegedly gave her the contact numbers of the LA police taken from the Internet. “I am worried about the whereabouts of my husband. Nobody is helping us to trace him. I urge the government authorities to trace my husband,” she pleaded.
