Hyderabad: The members of Federation for North-Eastern Colonies of Secunderabad (FNECS) met the MP Ch. Malla Reddy on Sunday and gave representation regarding the closure of roads in the Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) area on Sunday.
Mr C S Chandrashekar, secretary of the federation said, “Though all roads were to be reopened as per the orders from defence authorities, it appears from the minutes of the SCB meeting that only two roads were mentioned by chief executive officer Mr S.V.R. Chandrasekar. Also, we have not received any information about the proposed Joint survey for review of all closed roads neither from SCB or the Local Military Authority. How will they submit a report when 14 main roads still remain closed?”
Mr Reddy has assured the members that he would take all steps to ensure that the roads are reopened.
