Andhra Pradesh: Geology students strike it rich during placement drive

Warangal: Dr. R. Mallikarjuna Reddy, head, department of geology, Kakatiya University on Saturday said that 10 students of M.Sc. Geology have got appointment letters for the post of data analyst in Cyient Ltd. during the campus placement drive conducted by the company in the varsity on May 17 2017.

The Vice-Chancellor and registrar congratulated the students and professors of the department on the achievement.

Speaking on the occasion, V-C Prof. R. Sayanna said that due to the growing demand for minerals and fuels many national and multinational companies are investing heavily in these areas, generating a lot of jobs in the sector.

He also said that the students of geology have bright prospects and job opportunities. Prof. Sayana also expressed happiness over the continuous placements through campus drives in the varsity since a decade.
