Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a student died after getting hit by a piece of rock that came flying from an explosion carried out by workers at the Ranganayaka Sagar project on Friday.
The deceased, identified as Chitti Suresh, 19, was preparing for his examinations on the terrace of the government-run BC residential hostel in Thornal when the incident took place. The piece of rock that hit him on his head led to profuse bleeding and instant death, and his family is holding the workers responsible for his death. Following the incident, the body of the deceased was shifted to the Government hospital in Siddipet.
The rural police have registered a case against the workers of the Ranganayaka Sagar project.
