Top official removed for Varanasi flyover mishap

Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath government has removed Rajan Mittal as managing director of UP State Bridge Corporation for his alleged negligence of duty that led to the collapse of the Varanasi flyover on May 15 and named J.K. Srivastava to the post. The decision follows a three-member committee, which inquired into the collapse, submitted its report to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanadh on Thursday.
