Chennai: As announced by the state, the directorate of government examinations will declare Class 10 results on Friday morning. The state has abolished the state and district ranks in class 10 and 12 board exams last week.
The candidates can also know their results by registering their date of birth and roll number from following websites: www.tnresults.nic.in www.dge1.tn.nic.in www.dge2.tn.nic.in.
Apart from that they can also see their results in their respective schools. Students can download their provisional mark sheets from the www.dge.tn.nic.in website from May 25 onwards. Students can also apply for re-totalling from May 19 to 22.
The directorate of matriculation schools on Tuesday gave a strict warning to private schools not to advertise their top scorers in board exams.
